Tasks are proactive by nature and able to recur. If you need to perform a specific task on a schedule, make it recurring. Recurring Tasks have a Master (parent) and children.
The first task is the parent or Master task. All recurrences after that are children of the first Master task. If you need to change the schedule or detail of a recurring task, you have to edit/change the Master. While viewing a recurring Task, you may change the recurring settings (like Interval and Instructions) by making the relevant changes on the "Update" tab. These settings are only available to the Owner of the Task and User Administrators.
Recurring Tasks are accessed from the "Future" link on your "Items to Resolve" list on The Home page. Your "Future" tasks are split into 2 sections. The first section are tasks assigned to yourself, and the second, tasks assigned to someone else by you.
Try to refrain from assigning tasks that recur daily, they can be very burdensome to human beings. In terms of human efficiency, recurring tasks are best used with a interval like: weekly, 2-weekly, monthly, etc.
